    The Director of Hospice/Administrator position is open in our Apple Valley location and surrounding areas. This is a Full-time position.

    Requirements of the Director of Hospice/Administrator:
    * Education, preparation and/or experience to include: A Registered Nurse with a baccalaureate or higher degree in nursing or another health-related field with three years of experience within the last five years in a hospice or home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility, at least one year of which was in a supervisory or administrative capacity or; A Registered Nurse with four years of experience within the last five years in a hospice, home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility, at least one year of which was in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
    * Demonstrated ability in program administration including knowledge of hospice regulations, health care policies and standards of practice Demonstrated excellence in managing hospice systems.

    Director of Hospice/Administrator Duties Include:
    * Oversee the delivery of hospice services while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and agency policy.
    * Manage programs through delegation of responsibility to administrative and supervisory personnel according to their abilities and defined responsibilities.
    * Monitor day to day compliance with regulatory reimbursement requirements as defined by regional fiscal intermediaries and agency policy.
    * Ensures documentation is in accordance with law and regulation and the Agency is functioning properly under Federal & State guidelines.
    * Develops and updates protocols and monitors compliance to be current with Hospice Medicare regulations and VNA policies and procedures. Provides instruction to ensure understanding of policies and protocols.
    * Assists other members of the management staff in evaluating on-going programs and planning for new programs and/or changes in existing programs.
